Meet Mark & Russ

Like many Canadians, we grew up playing sports as kids, and like many Canadian garage doors, ours both took a beating.  Much to our parents’ dismay, we kept firing pucks and balls at our garages, trying to live out our star athlete dreams.  Fast forward to us having kids of our own in sports, and the issues surrounding at-home skill training were still there.

We weren’t happy with the ugly tarps and nets on the market that were difficult to set up and could only be used with balls—not pucks.  With Mark’s extensive background in manufacturing, we got to work on a solution for our own homes.

The Big Idea

The power roll-up SportScreen was born out of our collective love for sports and a bunch of fascinated neighbours that wanted us to build SportScreens for their homes too.  We spent the next two years building custom individual units for friends. The need in this market for a high-intensity at-home training tool that wouldn’t break the bank or the garage door was sounding loud and clear.

After years of research & development and product improvements, we lauched standardized SportScreen sizes to meet the increasing demand for The SportScreen. Soon enough, The SportScreen was turning driveways everywhere into the ultimate sports training zone.
